Thank you for the support, blogeroos. I too enjoy the idea of Matt reading to me while I sit on a bench eating an apple, but the man is in a
play. He gets home at 11:38 every night, about 6 minutes after I have passed out, and Dexter has settled down onto my study sheets for a purry little nap. Which is not to say that life is all bad. Dexter is a fine little study companion, and one who urges me to take frequent breaks to pet him. Sometimes I say, "Yeah, Dexter, I would like someone to massage me all day too, that would be really nice for me, but that is not reality, OK?" And then he blinks at me, a little hurt and perplexed, and so I have to stop studying and pet him for 15 minutes. Sometimes I absent-mindedly look for points on him, and sometimes he bites me. 11 days until the test. 5 days until my birthday. What do you think about that?
