OK so here is my news. I am working on a project at school. Memorial Sloan-Kettering is funding clinical trials to determine the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of side effects of cancer treatment like hot flashes, pain, chronic fatigue, and shortness of breath. How cool is that? I f you know anyone who is undergoing cancer treatment and would like to participate in a free clinical trial, put them in touch with me. We have to get 40 people to come in weekly for treatments. It is a great opportunity for me, my field, and the patients. Trials like this are what is going to get acupuncture covered by insurance, which will benefit everyone. Yea!
Also, I just started winning points and I hate it. But I gained 12 pounds since I have been in school, and it has got to go. I want to go on a diet of lying on the couch eating donuts and never exercising. I guess I have been on that diet for a while, but I would like the result of that diet to be a gorgeous body and perfect health. Oh well. Time for my oat pellets. See you soon.
