Dear Longing,
Spring will arrive, as always, on March 21st. I like to celebrate the vernal equinox by embracing the chinese concept of systematic correspondences. Springtime is associated with the tree, it has an upward and outward direction, its hue is bright green, its taste is sour. Very much like a margarita, up, in a martini glass. Springtime is spiritually about rebirth, and our aspirations and ambitions for the future. It rules the eyes, and vision, both literal and metaphorical. It is about desire. I say we all drink margaritas and get sexy. Put on your beach plum lip gloss and meet me somewhere Friday, March 21st. Anyone care to suggest a venue? I'm thinking Tahiti.
