I miss Manhattan, and having friends, and having stuff to do. I am like some weird suburban housewife. You know, I really don't miss Brooklyn at all, because I essentially live in Brooklyn, just a nicer neighborhood than I used to. More like fancy slope or parts of the heights. But I miss the urban jangle and throb, and the extreme familiarity and associations I have with places in Manhattan. And we are trying not to spend money, so I miss restaurants. I used to eat out almost every meal. Now I eat great, healthy food and beautiful meals from the Vegetarian Epicure like Beet Salad with Pear vinaigrette, but I want Restaurant Food. I want someone to bring it to me. And I want friends there when the food comes. I AM BORED. Languishing here in a beautiful place with books to read and cable. Im a brat. Thoughts?
